With over three decades in the civil engineering sector, Ivan Verkic brings a depth of experience that’s been shaped across both public utilities and private industry. Starting his career with Melbourne Water and Yarra Valley Water, he built a strong technical foundation before moving into systems consulting and eventually co-founding Kaycee Excavations in 1998. Since then, Ivan has played a key role in guiding the company’s growth, combining industry knowledge with a steady, practical leadership style. His focus has always been on building a business that delivers consistently and operates with integrity.

James Verkic
James Verkic represents the next generation of leadership within the business. Starting on site while completing his Civil Engineering degree at RMIT, he developed a hands-on understanding of the work early on. Over the past decade, he has become a central part of project delivery, known for his practical approach and strong coordination across teams. James stays closely involved throughout each stage of a project, helping ensure work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to the expected standard.
